Bryony Heart - BIOGRAPHY

Bryony Heart is an independent singer songwriter based on the Hampshire / Surrey border, growing up in a small country village spending most of her days in nature amongst animals and the outdoors.

Influenced from an early age by artists such as Tracy Chapman, Amy Winehouse and Norah Jones , Heart’s music has evolved into an organic blend of powerful pop with subtle tones of acoustic guitar to reveal that human touch. Her distinctive voice has been described as spine chilling, powerful and unique!

Being very dyslexic Heart struggled at school and often feeling alone she turned to music for comfort in her primary years. Heart began learning to play the violin but soon found singing was how she could really express her inner feelings and the violin was later replaced with a guitar. In her early teens, Heart began to share her emotions with paper, writing lyrics that reflected on her life experiences.

A talent was spotted in her earlier years when Heart was selected to take part in the Artist Development Program with Future Music after her successful performances at the Area and Regional Open Mic UK Competitions.
Her latest acknowledgement was her “Nomination For Best Female Act” at the Radio Wigwam Awards 2025

Heart has performed at many Festivals including Weyfest in ‘22 & ’24, and is regularly out gigging at clubs & pubs, including venues such as Chichester Festival Theatre, Login Lounge Camberley, Heartbreakers Southampton, Music at the Pottery Farnham & South Hill Park Arts Centre Bracknell. When not gigging she can sometimes be found busking on the streets or on the network rail with the Busk in London Scheme.

‘If…’ is a fierce and dynamic tale of betrayal from UK singer-songwriter Bryony Heart

The track is just the second single from the creative rising artist

On her brand new single ‘If…’, Bryony Heart continues to establish the expansive and dynamic edge to her sound that was first explored on the artist’s debut single ‘Player’, continuing to demonstrate a fierce and empowering style that has a raw and powerful edge to it.

The new single is packed full of fun sonic quirks to heighten the atmospheric tension and provide it with an uncompromising and dynamic appeal throughout. Stirring strings provide the track with a sense of composure and are expertly contrasted with distorted guitars and the artist’s impassioned and soulful vocals to create a dichotomy and sense of duality on the track that hints at uneasiness and bad vibes throughout the track. This does nothing to sacrifice the melodic edge of the sound though, and while there is an aura of danger and darkness throughout, the memorable charm of the chorus and its enthralling appeal provide this story of betrayal and deceit with a multi-faceted and three-dimensional edge.
